Karts to Cars
Do you dream of taking your passion for driving and racing to the next level?
NJMP and the South Jersey Region Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) have
partnered on a Karts to Cars program to make your dream a reality.
- SCCA Alternative Drivers Schools (ADS) to be held at NJMP June 26th (Lightning), August 14th (Lightning) and October 23rd (Thunderbolt)
- Go-kart racers with significant wheel-to-wheel competition experience can submit their racing credentials to apply.
- If approved, you will be guided through the process to get your SCCA Novice Permit and prepare for the ADS.
- We’ll connect you with professional Arrive and Drive racecar rental companies for a Spec Miata or Spec Racer Ford to use.
- You will be instructed, coached, and observed by veteran racecar drivers and stewards during your ADS.
- If you are deemed ready-to-race, you will be signed off with a provisional SCCA racing license and entitled to race – even on the same weekend as your ADS!
